Was this the smartest choice? I believe it wasn't, she had many options, however, when put in a situation like this your mind blocks. Her parents knew what was going on, they could've done something about it not only moving but pressing charges. The guy was stalking her. We all make mistakes. Now a days I think every girl that has access to the internet has been asked to flash. Ladies don't do it and as far as bullying goes it's a big part of every teenagers life but there are different ways to handle it. Cyber-bullying is a big one now a days, as soon as you start getting bullied diactivate your facebook account. People can't talk if they don't have anyone to talk about. If facebook is that important in ones life then make a new one and keep it private just close friends and family. As soon as you stop giving them attention things will most likely wear off. Print out the things that are going on and keep them filed for when charges are pressed, that is all evidence of what's been going on. Even if it's a fake account atleast there's a name. Block those people from facebook. Moving is one of the things that could be done but don't stop there press charges! Sometimes for this things to stop we have to give it a little attention, through the news, newspaper, police anything and everything that you can get. Stop bullying!

Life
In many of our minds life is about living it. It's about only having one and living it to the fullest and that is true but there's something wrong with how one views life, some have one problem for which they don't find a way of solving and the first thing that goes through their mind is suicide. This might not be you but look next to you, it could be that person. It could be your brother, your sister, your cousin, friend or that one person you just don't get along with. I don't expect to change anyone I just think we should take it easy and think for a minute. Life is so precious. No one should care who you are, what you believe in, what race, color, or sex you are, whether you're gay or straight suicide is never the answer to any of your problems. A study showed that the number of attempted suicide in teens increased form 6.3 in 2009 to a 7.8 in 2011. Not only are their attempts but many teens also have a suicide plan or suicidal thoughts. Cyberbullying has become a big issue now with the Internet being as powerful as it is, an example of cyberbullying is Tyler Clementi who died September 22, 2010. He was bullied by his room mate because he was gay, His roommate and a friend of his recorded Tyler kissing another man and spread this through out the Internet. After Tyler's death Dharun Ravi (Tyler's roommate) was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 3 years probation, 300 hours of community service, a $10,000 fine, and counseling on cyberbullying and alternate lifestyles. If you or one of your friends is being bullied stand up and say something to an adult, there are consequences out the for bullies. Forty-nine states in the US have passed a school anti-bullying legislation. So speak up.

Teens and Traffic
Last school year there was 27 students in Volusia County who got hit by a car from or to school in which two resulted as death. With only 10 days of school already five Volusia County students have been hit. We as adolescents believe that a car sees us when we cross the street whether is on foot or a bike. The truth is they really don't see you until you're an inch away from their car, their job as drivers is to be aware of pedestrians, however, we as pedestrians have to also be aware of cars. This is not a good way to start this school year, it's scary to wake up walk to school or even to the bus stop knowing that you can be hit by a car. People are always in a hurry sometime we just have to breath, calm down, and take is slow, students cross where they are not supposed to just to save up a little of time (maybe seconds) and get struck by a car, drivers forget all about school zones and drive fast without looking for pedestrians crossing and next thing they know they've hit a student. Whether you walk, ride your bike or drive to school, always be aware of what and who is around you.

Intro... We are teens
Hey guys! My name is Enid, I'm a junior, I'm sixteen and yes I'm a teenager. Let me tell you that we as teenagers share many weaknesses and fears. All my life all I've wanted to do is help others, many of my close friends come to me for help when ever they need something and I thought what better than to make a blog about some of the sort of things we go through daily. One of my favorite quotes is "Nobody can go back and start a new beginning but anyone can start today and create a new ending" by Maria Robinson and I believe this applies to us as teenager because we think that life is going to be easy, but as soon as we make a mistake the world falls on us and we're just done well no, it's true you can't go back and fix what you did but you can start today and fix how your story ends. We as teenagers go through many "tough" situations and in my opinion life is more than fair what makes it unfair is our actions and attitudes towards a situation in life. We as teens share so many emotions and experiences, we just don't know it because we keep everything to ourselves. I believe ones have more luck than others because they have the support or trust of family but others don't, many teens keep things to themselves thinking they are alone, thinking things only happen to them. It's not like that, just as children or babies do similar things at similar ages, teens do too but we just don't know it. Some believe they are alone. Whether you believe it or not just as there are many negative things that happen to teens, there are also many more positive things that we as teens go through we just don't see it because as soon as one bad thing happens we feel like we're done like we have a miserable life. Like we are WORTHLESS! but we're not, we just need someone to be there and guide us in the right direction once again and that's what this is all about.
